WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER: Pitch perfect 1 Vs Pitch Perfect 2

This should be fun!  Yippee!!! Our rating system. Whoop whoop!!!

How many of y’all seen Pitch perfect 1? Well, I have, and I saw it over 3 times. Asides the fact that I love music, it’s a great movie I must say. But, what’s your number on this?

I love the bathroom scene where they sang David Guetta ft Sia – Titanium, that was my favourite part of Pitch Perfect 1.

The sequel, Pitch Perfect 2 just hit the cinemas and trust you Deners na, you must have seen it. And if you haven’t, hmmnnnn…

My Thoughts

For Pitch Perfect 2,

The Video: The director Elizabeth Banks did a Great Job; I must give her that huge credit for an aca-awesome video.
The parties, performances and almost everything in this movie is captured to comfort your eyes and to prevent the audience from falling asleep. It’s an Eye candy.

The Soundtracks: oh yeah, the non-stop flawless music. Das Sound Machine really rocked the movie and made it challenging for the Barden Bellas to win. Famous songs and a fantastic track-list. Was expecting to see more of Pentatonix buh didn’t. not bad at all. Had plenty of goose bumps. Yea yea, my hair can rise up for Africa. Always asif a feather is used to tickle my earlope.

The Pace: I have recently seen many movies this year that were good but there's always that moment in the movie where you feel bored. Gladly, Pitch Perfect 2 doesn't fall for that mistake and it never slows down, you actually never feel bored in the movie. Not a moment.

The Storyline: The usual story about the Bellas trying to win their competition. Except that this time, it's bigger, a World Wide Championship! And some side stories about each of the characters and what they're going to do after graduating.

Conclusion: As a huge fan of the first part, I found it very original to make a good movie about Acapella which is something new and could be a great advance in the music process of this generation.

Everything we liked about the first part is doubled here. It's like they checked what part of the movie the fans liked and added more of it which means MORE SONGS,MORE FAT AMY,MORE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT,MORE CHALLENGES and Definitely MORE LAUGHS!

After reading the review and watching the trailer you probably know what you're getting from this movie. Feeling into it? Then go watch it because you're surely going to like it

Below are some other reviews:

The movie was entertaining - got a few good laughs. Again as with most sequels, it doesn't quite live up to nor exceed that of the previous PP                                 - EMMA

I give this "film" 3 out of 10 because it wasn't Russian enough. I've only give this a 3 because Anna Kendrick is stunning in every scene, Russians like a lot. I'm not going to spoil anything but I think hinting that an over weight girl is showing her vagina is not funny.

In my opinion, I loved 100% this sequel due the excellent choices of songs, hilarious scenes, goosebumps reaction of the final performance that actually made me cried because I felt what they felt of the fear of the tomorrow after graduation. Loved the voice of Emily Junk wow speechless. The song Flashlight wow, i cried a lot, beautiful cover song by Anna Kendrick. For me, I believe they need to leave this sequel as the final closure of Pitch Pecfect. I recommend it without a 2nd thought.                                                                                                                                                                                  -CAROLINE

So, on a scale of 10, that is, 10 for best and 0 for worst, WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER?

It’s a 9:6. (i.e.,  9 for pitch perfect 1, and 6 for pitch perfect 2) for me.

Share your thoughts. And probably accompany it with your favourite song in the movie. Please aca-comment and aca-contribute. Love you aca-ciously.
